Zooper Day Camp
Ages: 4-6 years
Time: 9:00 a.m. - noon or
1:00 - 4:00 p.m.
Full- Day Sessions:
Ages: 5-9 years (grouped by age*)
Time: 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
We offer two (2) different themes so that children may attend up to two (2) weeks of Zooper Day Camp in the summer. If selecting two (2) weeks of Zooper Day Camp, please select one week of each theme. The order of camp themes does not make a difference.
Zooper Day Camp drop-off and pick-up are at the Education Center located near the zoo's South Entrance.
Theme A: Survival Strategies To-Do List: find food, escape predators, conserve energy, locate watering hole...so much to do if you are a wild animal trying to survive! Join us for an exciting look at the many different survival strategies animals employ.
Theme B: One Can Make A Difference Campers will be empowered to make a difference for wildlife and their families and communities with small actions they can do every day. We'll learn how these actions have impacts in our homes, our state and even globally!
*Groups Full day campers are grouped by age, generally with approximately a one (1) year (12 months) age span or less. Unfortunately, we cannot honor all “group with” requests, especially when there is an age gap of more than one (1) year or there are multiple children (more than four ) wanting to all be grouped together.
If you are interested on being on a wait list for full sessions, please download, complete and send in a camp registration form indicating any sessions for which you would like to be wait-listed. Please indicate "For Wait List" on the form. If spaces open we will fill them on a first come, first served basis from the wait list. We will call and/or email you before we move you off the wait list and into a vacated space.
Some sessions listed as FULL on the schedule may have limited spaces available for certain ages and will be listed as space available depending on date of birth. You may email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or call us at 206.548.2424 x3, let us know your child's birthdate and we will let you know if we have space available for your child.
